Braaaaaaaaaaaavo!!!

Bravo Everyone!!!   

We did it! Friday night's concert at the Roumanian Orthodox Church was a box office smash and raised 4500euros for the children of Sf. Elena's creche in Sighetul Marmatiei! Thank you to all who bought tickets, gave or sent donations and helped so fabulously both morally and practically.

Thanks to Pere Iulian for the church, the cakes and the mulled wine. To Hugo for the posters and tickets, Evelyne and Cheryl for the programmes, Michel, Alain and Adrian for the filming and sound, to Anne for selling the tickets and Miruna for programme distribution when Michel had to go and do some filming. Thank you to the marvellous musicians who came from far and wide and performed for free. The quality was of the utmost professionalism - I've had endless e-mails of compliments and thanks for a wonderful evening spent.

Thank you for the moral support, the encouragement and the love from my dearest friends who knew that this concert fell at a particularly difficult period for me: especially to my Nicole and Serge who would have been here if they didn't live across the pond and instead were here in spirit, their hands were in mine all the evening, to Aura in Bucharest whose sms's meant so much, to Fafa, Cheryl, Marie Jo, Véronique and Francine, who were here and marvellous as always.

Bravo, bravo and all my thanks to you all for making this a concert impossible to forget and a night to remember!!!
