Rusine, AOL Actualité...

How dare you, AOL Actualité, use such a photo to represent the Roumanian population voting in today's election. The gypsy people are a minority of a quarter million compared to the 200 million Roumanians in the country. This photo does NOT symbolise a country. It does nothing but encourage misconceptions that are already rife, particularly in France. A photo like that just fuels an already burning fire. Have you no shame? Evidently not. And you don't even realise it... Rusine! Having pulled your ignorance out from under a bushel, you now insist on airing it for the whole world to see. Dispicable journalism.

Due to copy-rite, I cannot copy-paste, so please go see for yourself and leave a comment.

Yes, Sarah
I too am appalled how ignorant French reporters are. At least they should have included a caption with the mention that in today's Romania Rroma citizens enjoy the full voting rights as the rest of the population.
Publishing this picture they only reinforce the image we have abroad, namely that we have lots of children, wear long, colorful skirts and braid our hair.
